We need you to COMMENT now! Please let the Nebraska Department of Education know what you think about Draft 1 of the proposed health standards!

Written public comment can be submitted electronically at the following link:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfabPneexHKFtBUsmKOSUcWU2dqrsWUSAFv2gQ0nTJGkw6agw/viewform?usp=sf_link.  Written public comment may also be sent via U.S. Mail and must be received by 9:00 a.m. on June 3, 2021, addressed to: State Board of Education, Nebraska Department of Education, Attn. Ryan Foor, P.O. Box 94987, Lincoln, NE 68509-4987.  Written public comment is limited to 750 words.

Additionally:

The June 4, 2021 meeting of the State Board of Education will be held in Ballroom I at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 110 2nd Avenue, Kearney, NE 68847.  The meeting will begin at 9:00 am.  Members of the public should enter from the west entrance to the Holiday Inn Conference Center. For those wishing to speak at the meeting, they will start taking names of those in line at 8 am. Please bring 15 copies of your statement and don’t plan on anymore than 2 minutes total.
